Item: Flirt "Dreamy Eyes" Eyeshadow
Commnets: I brought the Flirt eye-shadow in Gypsy Nights, usually I buy cheap eye-shadow like drugstore cheap, but I was in Kohl's browsing around ended up buying this item. Tried it and my review is, its very pigmented and smooth, but doesn't blend smoothly with other colors well, maybe this depends on which tool you use? I used two different tools and found blending a little difficult, but what I really do like is the mirror, the bold colors, and how the color blended into the skin, didn't loose color, where other products I used lost 50% of the palette color when applied to my skin.
Rating: 3/5
Cost: $12.00

Anna Sui will be the second established designer, after Alexander McQueen, to do a collection for Target under the Designer Collaboration series. The line hits stores September 13 in 250 select Target stores and will be available through October 17. Target previously brought us lines by up-and-coming designers like Proenza Schouler and Thakoon for the Go International series, but now they're focusing on established names that will motivate not only fashion-savvy customers, but also the masses, to shop, with the ultimate goal of overtaking its arch nemesis, Wal-Mart.

Target hasn't been able to regain the sales momentum it enjoyed when Isaac Mizrahi designed an exclusive collection for the chain. Meanwhile Wal-Mart basks in the spoils of 11-year-olds blowing allowances on Hannah Montana–embellished comforters and even more terrifying, Hannah Montana dinner plates. This leaves the more sophisticated Target to rope in the 15- to 34-year-old consumer base. And while 9-year-olds love Hannah Montana, 24-year-olds share a similarly strong passion for Gossip Girl. So, in a stroke of marketing genius, Anna Sui's collection will be inspired by the four ladies of Gossip Girl: Blair, Serena, Jenny, and Vanessa.“When I was in Asia last year, all the young girls kept asking me about the different locations in New York City where the characters from ‘Gossip Girl’ live,” Sui told WWD. She used materials like metallic jacquard, herringbone, silk, and chiffon with tulle, lace, and sequin detailing. This is so exciting! We have faith in her to stay away from Serena's slutty bandage dresses, cheap versions of which always look 500 times sluttier. We could also go without Vanessa's horrible Claire's jewelry.

Whitney Port from "The Hills" and "The City" has a clothing line named Whitney Eve Here is a interview from Nylon.

Hellooo Whitney. Hello, NYLON!

Everyone knows about your TV show, but you've also got a new clothing line? Yes it’s called Whitney Eve, which are my first and middle name.

Why? Here’s the deal, like, I wanted my name to be part of the line, and I didn’t want to let my job situation tell the story for me, but at the same time, I wanted to put my brand on it. So I figured my first and middle name, if I did that, it would be personal enough without being so connected to what people think they know about me.

This might sound harsh, but why do we need another celebrity clothing line? Because in California, at least, everyone’s wearing the same thing. Everyone’s got this lifestyle where all you see is trends. And I thought if I could bring a California style that was more unique, and more based on a vintage aspect, then women would feel a little bit different. It’s hard to use such generic words; I’m sure everyone feels their clothes are unique and different. But I’ve played off a lot of vintage pieces and fabrics and patterns that I’ve seen through shopping. Most of my pieces are vintage but sometimes you want the same attention to detail and the same variety in a department store.

Most girls are very curious about your wardrobe. If you couldn’t wear any Whitney Eve clothes, what would you wear? I love Manoush but it’s so "little girl" sometimes… and I really like what Phillip Lim has done, but my closet is all dresses from different walks of life.

You said you didn’t want your “job situation” to be part of the equation, but surely, you must have learned something from The Hills and from People’s Revolution that’s helped? It’s more logistics – how to shoot a look book, or like, how to make your line cohesive. But style-wise, it all came from within. I’ve never used my job to learn how to design clothes; it’s just the business part of it.

Gossip time – what will happen to you in New York?! I mean, I think everything’s kind of in the works right now. I’ll be there for Fashion Week, and possibly after. And that’s all I can say!
--FARAN KRENTCIL

You can Purchase Whitney Eve at Kitson, and Revolve Clothing. I, personalty don't care for her line so far, and agree 200% with "everyone’s wearing the same thing."

Comments: I read in Teen Vogue, that Joy Bryant use this. So, I decided to try this out, and am very satisfied. My skin is brighter, I have less breakouts, but my forehead is still oily:( I will definitely try their other products though.
